the aim of mediation is to help people find a solution which meets as many of their needs - and those of their children - as possible, and which everyone feels is fair.
How does the family mediation work?
You will be offered a series of meetings with one or two mediators. They will provide a comfortable and informative setting; they will help you collect all the relevant information; they will help you discuss and explore possible arrangements to suit you all.
How much it will cost?
Generally the family mediators work in various settings including in voluntary organizations, private practices and in solicitors offices and charge at different levels. You can ask about the cost of family mediation before confirming that you want to ask a mediator to work with you.
But we offer a possibility of sharing the cost for you:

Who can use the family mediation?
Family mediation can assist all kinds of couples:
- married and unmarried
- younger and older
- whether or not you have children
Family mediators can help you decide if mediation suits you and your circumstances. All sorts of separating couples have found family mediation to be a constructive and supportive means of conducting discussions and reaching workable and practical arrangements.
Decisions made in mediation are documented but are not legally binding. A legal agreement can be drawn up.
